Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to communicate in the seafood industry. It includes the ability to read and interpret instructions, locate information, participate in workplace discussions and record workplace data that requires the calculation of workplace measures. The unit applies to individuals who work in the seafood industry and perform a range of routine and predictable activities that require fundamental communication skills in a defined context under the direction of a supervisor.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

Assessment Tasks
